In context with Petter Stordalen that opens a new hotel at Tjuvholmen called The List of the Thief, he arranges an exhibition with young Norwegian designers.

Corcoran Museum of Art, Washington DC

Studio Vibeke Skal will exhibit the Story Lamp toghether with Ida Noemi and the Artic Collection together with Jens Praet on the exhibtion "The Exceptional everyday" at the Corcoran Museum of Art in Washington DC.

The Exceptional Everyday is an exhibition showcasing the dynamic and witty work of nine contemporary Norwegian industrial designers. The exhibit featuring objects which tweaks a seemingly mundane object or process and, in doing so, creates an exceptional experience.

100% Norway, London

Studio Vibeke Skar will exhibit two prototypes of Story collection together with Ida Noemi. As the winner of the 100% Norway Design Award she will also be launching Evergreen lamp together with Studio Jens Praet for Northern Lighting.

100% Norway 2011 will showcase works of both established and up-and-coming designers, and feature a number of the country’s leading manufacturers. This will be the eight time the exhibition visits London to act as a door opener for Norwegian designers and manufacturers to the British market and simultaneously build awareness of Norwegian design in the UK and internationally.

Paris Design Week, Docks en Seine

After the successful exhibition at BHV, Studio Vibeke Skar and Studio Jens Praet are exhibiting Evergreen lamp for Northern Lighting at Docks en Seine during Paris Design Week.

Studio Vibeke Skar and Studio Jens Praet are launching Evergreen lamp for Northern Lighting at BHV in Paris.

The exhibition entitled "I am not just an object” takes the visitor behind the scenes to discover the design and development of a project from its conception to its final development, a stage design by Gregory and Lacoua JS Lagrange with among others Humberto and Fernando Campana for Alessi, Jean-Louis and Philippe Starck Fréchin Parrot and François Mascarello…

Evergreen wins 100% Norway Design Competition!

The winner of the first ever 100% Norway Design Competition is Northern Lighting together with designers Vibeke Skar and Jens Praet for the lamp Evergreen.

Of the winning entry, the jury said the following: "There was a very positive response all round from the judges on this design, and Vibeke and Jens were announced by the jury’s media contingent as being 'stars in the making'. The lamp has a strong storytelling aspect to it, conjuring up nostalgic images of Norwegian boat yards with the wire fastening, and the jury also commented on the subtle but attractive contrast offered by referencing industrially produced old metal factory lamps in luxurious hand blown glass”.

Stockholm Furniture fair

Launching the Evergreen lamp by Studio Vibeke Skar and Studio Jens Praet for Northern Lighting and exhibiting Arctic Collection at Norway Now, Clarion Sign Hotel.

Studio Vibeke Skar will show her new design together with SHE design, Bente Lund-Larsen and Heidi Borthne at Stockholm Furniture Fair.

Stockholm Furniture Fair is a trade fair, which takes place at Stockholm International Fairs in Älvsjö. Here you will find the most comprehensive range of furniture, offices, design and textiles. The fair is now considered to be one of the most interesting design fairs in the world.

IMM Cologne

Story lamp by Studio Vibeke Skar and Ida Noemi Vidal will be exhibited at the IMM Cologne international Furniture fair with TEAM 7 Natürlich Wohnen.

IMM cologne showcases the home interiors of the future. The important suppliers from Germany, the rest of Europe and all over the world will present their latest products here. IMM cologne is the central meeting place for suppliers and decision-makers.

DesignTide Tokyo

Studio Vibeke Skar is exhibiting Lily Lamp and has teamed up with 12 Oslo-based designers, Anderssen & Voll, Vibeke Skar, StokkeAustad, SHE Design, Christoffer Angell, Øyvind Wyller, Simen Aarseth, Petter Skogstad, Hallgeir Homstvedt and Your Friends. Under the name Oslo-Tokyo, Personal Stories from Oslo are we showing 10 brand new objects for the Design Tide exhibition in Tokyo.

DesignTide Tokyo is an annual design event that takes place in Tokyo in late autumn. It is analogous to the type of design events that take place in major cities around the world.

Gallery ROM Oslo

Studio Vibeke Skar in collaboration with Studio Jens Praet will show the industry lamp in glass inspired by the global industrial revolution.

UTFORMASJON at Gallery ROM curated by ODL, StokkeAustad and Your Friends wish through dissection, and a reduction-treatment of the products, to facilitate focus on all the aspects of a product. The exhibition intends to tell the story behind a product, to expand our awareness of what we emphasize when we buy a product. The gallery and store feature will be a part of this storytelling, where the objectivity of the products, combined with the sales aspect, will explore the relationship between these two situations.

Salone del Mobile, Ventura Lambrate

For Salone del Mobile 2010 Studio Vibeke Skar will be showing Industrial Impact, Urteriket, Story Porcelain lamp and Fantasia Glass collection at Ventura Lambrate; the new area for design in Milan during the Salone del Mobile. Studio Vibeke Skar together with Studio Jens Praet and LanzevecchiaWai are renting a 100m2 gallery space and showing their work in Milano for the first time.

The goal with Ventura Lambrate is to offer the international design world a new area in Milan, where the focus will once again be on the quality of the presentations, the substance of the exhibitors and the content of the works.
